Introduction to Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Seremban is the capital city of Negeri Sembilan state of Malaysia. Distance between Seremban and Kuala Lumpur is less than 70km. On a good day, e.g. no traffic jam, driving time using North South Highway from Kuala Lumpur to Seremban is less than an hour. However in less than an-hour driving time, population density is dropped from 6,180 persons / sq kilometre(Kuala Lumpur) to 137 persons / sq kilometre(Seremban), according to Census Report 2003 of Department of Statistics Malaysia. Therefore Seremban is a mecca for bungalows. It is an attractive place for affordable living, especially to those working in Kuala Lumpur. Besides closed to Kuala Lumpur city, Seremban is also not too far from the beaches(30 kilometres). One of the more popular near-by beach towns is Port Dickson . Seremban has no airport. However Kuala Lumpur International Airport is situated very close, i.e. a 30-minute drive. Besides highway, Seremban is also connected to Kuala Lumpur via train and bus

An introduction to Taman Lavender Heights, Senawang, Negeri Sembilan

Senawang is a small town next to Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Not many Malaysians know Senawang unless they are from Negeri Sembilan(one of the states in Malaysia). Among the foreigners and tourists in Malaysia, they know Kuala Lumpur but not Seremban. They probably will not know Senawang. Therefore Seremaban and surrounding areas become magnet for those who work in Kuala Lumpur, but prefer affordable and big home. In Seremban, for RM 300k you can get a bungalow with land area of at least 4500 sf. Whereas in Kuala Lumpur an ordinary terrace house with land area of 1600 sf(20X80) will fetch at least RM 300k.

Taman Lavender Heights is one of the housing areas in Senawang. The concept of bungalows for phase three of Taman Lavender Heights is pretty new in Malaysia. The main developer, Senawang Mewah sells the bungalow lands to buyers. Then the buyer can choose one of the two contractors to build the bungalow. Each contractor has more than ten approved bungalow designs. Most of other bungalow developers only have one or a few designs for the potential buyers.

Besides those who want a big home, who should consider Taman Lavender Heights? Retirees are well suited for Taman Lavender Heights. Besides stretching their ringgit, Taman Lavender Heights is not too far from Kuala Lumpur. Using North South Highway, driving time between Kuala Lumpur city centre and Senawang will be around an hour if there is no traffic jam on highway.
